ITS Maps

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) devices deployed along our roadways help operations staff at the SunGuide® Transportation Management Center (TMC) manage traffic in real-time. They provide our transportation system with the tools to improve the conditions of our existing roadway system. The information generated by each device allows traffic managers to provide the services that are creating better roadways, such as the Road Ranger Service Patrol program and the region's Traveler Information Systems.

ITS Devices are comprised of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Roadway Detectors. Together, there are more than 600 ITS devices, that cover approximately 213.5 center line miles along the major roadways of Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties
