Incident Management
Road Ranger Service Patrols
Road Ranger Service Patrols provide incident management and motorist assistance services along the roadways of Miami-Dade County.
The program is part of a national initiative implemented to improve the overall safety and mobility of the surface transportation systems across the United States. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six is committed to operating the Road Ranger Program in our area and continuously strives to improve the efficiency of the services provided. The SunGuide® Transportation Management Center (TMC) serves as the control and command post for all program field operations. TMC operations staff are in constant communication with the Road Ranger Service Patrols and dispatch their services to help manage incidents and events through out the county.
